Sigh... Carol's comment about Libby being forced to resign after "one little leak" makes me very sad.

Still wondering when Dubya is going to make good on his promise to "return integrity to the White House". America can do so much better. And I'm surrounded by people in Texas that don't see the irony in Stephen Colbert asking the question - "George W. Bush: great President or *greatest* President".

Carol the podcast guest host will do in a pinch. It is good to hear different points of view. But I miss me some Pat. If Jeff doesn't queue up that 7-11 theme song soon, I won't be held responsible for my actions (sort of like Bush, Cheney, Rove, etc...).

Yeah, Carol seems nice, but we all agree that we need Pat back.

And as far as Anne Rice writing a book about Jesus' childhood, it's already been done. Read Christopher Moore's "Lamb...the Gospel According to Biff" It's the definitive accounting of Jesus' youth. The most hilarious book I have ever read.

It's good to be pre-warned about yet another Shrub-apology session. I'll check back later.

Love your podcast. I really like Pat but I also really like Carol. I love all of her facts and view points. You should have her on the show on the regular basis. Maybe a separate podcast or alternate with Pat.

I too highly recommend "Lamb", I think it is my favourite book and I have become a big christopher moore fan because of that book.

jeff, rumor on the street is that pat is coming back to the mic soon. is this true? inquiring minds want to know.

Tom, I still remember W's acceptance speech in 2000 - he was going to reach to all and govern for everyone. His latest choice for supreme court shows this to be false clearly. But given Bush's acceptance level at this point, I don't think we're alone.

Hey - I kinda like the political diversity that Carol brings - at the end of the day, I suppose she does represent more of the 'Texan' viewpoint than Pat or I could.

    Carol - LOL

As far as any rumors go, Pat has always only temporarily been gone - but consistently podcasting weekly is sometimes hard work and perhaps Pat and Carol can take the reigns for awhile... ;-)
