Perhaps there was some sarcasm you were missing in David Corn's comments. The remark of explaining to a 4 year old reminded me of all the republican whining a few years ago about having to explain to their chiildren the actions of Bill Clinton and Monica. I believe this because that was the exact joke I made to some of my liberal friends as I exclaimed "WHAT ABOUT THE CHILDREN?!?!? What will we tell them? How do we explain?" To me, at least the way I interpreted it, was an effort to expose further hypocrisy on their part.

the sirius deal and the deals inked with Dawn and Drew, Madge, etc are pretty separate. The signees (as far as I know) won't have a lot to do with the sirius thing...

J & P,
I love your show. I listen at work in Irving.
Pat,
We recently moved to the area from a state that has no front plate. My sister-in-law in Plano told me the front plate was optional. She doesn't have one on her car, though my brother has one on his. I wasn't so sure when I moved here, so I put it on anyway. I'm glad I did, since it sounds like one can get a ticket for over it.
The "it's just lunch" and 7-11 stuff is a hoot. The Dallas minute is interesting and informative. I hope you continue to do it in every show.
This is pathetic, but I found myself humming the 7-11 theme that Jeff was doing. Hours later. D'oh! Either it was great, catchy or I need to get out more.
Thanks for doing the show!

Hi Tom,
Glad you like the show and thanks for the kind comments.
I went to City Hall yesterday to show them proof that I had the license plate put on the front of the car, and my experience was a nightmare. It's NOT OVER YET.
I remember the good old days when I could cry my way out of a ticket and into a warning, but NOOOOO. Police Officers just are following orders to bring in revenue for stupid offenses. Yeesh.

I feel strangely compelled to comment on as many of your shows as I can...
I use to draw pay from Southland Corp, many many moons ago. I stopped eating any of the prepared food from there, unless I had prepped it myself. I guess everybody who's every worked in food prep probably has a similar statement about the place they worked.
