Virtually no-one has a flag. Perhaps we display them around big sporting events but generally that's about the only time.

American "rules" on flags are a silly idea, it's just a piece of fabric. all this stuff about not touching the ground and the rules on burning... don't you feel foolish doing that? it's just a flag, it won't stop you being a patriot by not having one or throwing one in the garbage because it's old and damaged.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10994240.post-1119203787343664712005-06-19T12:56:00.000-05:002005-06-19T12:56:00.000-05:00National Month Celebrations Rock.Somebody at my of...National Month Celebrations Rock.

Somebody at my office said, "Hey, did you see it's National Safety Month?" I was able to say, "Yup. I know all the important month celebrations, because there's one of my PodCasts, This 'n That, tells me what all the month celebrations are."

Thanks for helping me look well-informed, guys.Brad P. from NJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12741097270661815555noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10994240.post-1118779818446642282005-06-14T15:10:00.000-05:002005-06-14T15:10:00.000-05:00Jeff and Pat, let me begin by saying LOVE THE PODC...Jeff and Pat, let me begin by saying LOVE THE PODCAST! Next, I have a correction to your Podcast from 04 June. Pat mentioned the use of night vision goggles to detect seatbelt usage in Washington DC; the location of the use of night vision goggles was actually Maryland and the Governor has since banned the use of the goggles. (http://tinyurl.com/8qx9p)
Of course not before State Troopers got to test out the technology on a very busy area of Rockville, MD (located in Montgomery County--part of the DC metro area). I live in the area so I paid close attention to the story details.
Just thought I'd share! Keep up the great podcasting!
-TanyaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10994240.post-1118416149791763242005-06-10T10:09:00.000-05:002005-06-10T10:09:00.000-05:00Mark, that's very kind of you to say! That's something we all pay for in the end.Ferghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06390942521840289789noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10994240.post-1118171796490976802005-06-07T14:16:00.000-05:002005-06-07T14:16:00.000-05:00Thanks for the comments Tom. Memories of L-AS for me was staying 'up' on Friday night - no school (I was young) and I think Odd Couple was on right before it.... heavenly...

I do think that podcasters tend to write comments on websites as a way of also promoting their podcasts (which is all good by the way!). We get emails also but I would say that generally, folks are just happy to listen and don't particularly want to write about it!

But we SO enjoy getting feedback and hearing what resonates (or doesn't) with those listening.....

So - Thanks!!!Jeffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07510745659619325735noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10994240.post-1118153905315563172005-06-07T09:18:00.000-05:002005-06-07T09:18:00.000-05:00I remember "Love, American Style" and the theme so...I remember "Love, American Style" and the theme song as well. I recognized that music and it brought a smile. Seeing (from your blog) when it aired, I realize I was a little too young to be watching it though. My older siblings watched it and since we only had one tv, I occasionally did too.

It seems to me that most of the feedback posted on podcast sites is by other podcasters. Sometimes I wonder how many other non-podcasters listen to these shows. Or do the non-podcasters prefer to comment via email since they don't have a show to promote?

Thanks for doing the show! I'll keep listening and voting.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
